LOMAR BROWN

alias – Kris Keef

Lomar Brown is a Brooklyn based saxophonist. Brown has been making music from an early age; piano and saxophone. He continued to study at Berklee College of Music in Boston Massachusetts. After graduating he taught at the Epiphany School while writing his own music. Brown mainly plays alto and can be found on numerous projects, including the album The Beacon by AllBe in 2015. As part of Alissia and the Funketeers he performed at the Umbria Jazz Festival in Italy. In 2020 he was part of the band of Moses Sumney, performing at The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Brown is currently working on his own compositions in Brooklyn and Amsterdam. He performs weekly with his band at Bijan’s in downtown Brooklyn.
